1990 - Present


1991

ACVA starts regular public exhibition of independent films.

1992

10th Annual Central Florida Film & Video Festival with host Jim Philips at Orlando Museum of Art.

1993

ACVA disbands. Frameworks Alliance, Inc., established in response to creating a Media Arts Center facilitating the growth of local independent filmmakers. 11th Annual Central Film & Video Festival with Host Jim Philips; received a record-breaking 182 entries. Showcase created for Florida filmmakers.

1994

Held 1st fundraising event and theme party "Slumber Slaughter II" in conjunction with UCF's Animation and Film Association. Participates in "End of Orlando Street Project" -exhibition of local artists. Festival expanded to 3 full days. Added film-related seminars. Received a record-breaking 472 entries, showcasing over 70 independent films. Produced video on "Arts of the Heart" Project for Parents and Friends.

1995

Volunteer staff extends to include interns from Rollins College, SCC and UCF. Fox 35-WOFL donates 16mm Film Viewer, Cleaner & Editor. Festival expands to 10 days, with local art exhibition, musicians and fashion shows. Produced video for Orlando Fights Back.
